How to Clean & Care for Marble Furniture

A step-by-step guide on how to care for your Marble.

We carefully select the natural stone used across our collection, ensuring we only work with the finest grades of marble across our collection. We avoid thinner, softer fossil limestones in favor of stones better suited to the longevity and everyday use we expect from our pieces.

With the right care, your piece can be enjoyed for decades and continue to age beautifully over time.

1. Maintenance & Care

Wipe up spills immediately with a clean, soft cloth.

Always use coasters under drinks.

Avoid contact with acidic or alkaline liquids and cleaning products.

Apply protective felt pads to the underside of objects placed on stone surfaces to help prevent scratching.

2. Cleaning

Always use a cleaner specifically formulated for natural stone or marble. Ensure it is pH-neutral, non-acidic, and non-abrasive.

We have tested and recommend the following:

Weiman Granite and Stone 3-in-1 Cleaner - This is a great everyday affordable spray cleanser that removes oils, grime etc.
AQUA MIX Aquashield Cleaner & Resealer Sealing

Never use abrasive, acidic, or alkaline cleaning products on natural stone. Avoid contact with acidic or alkaline substances, including citrus, vinegar, coffee, and orange oil, and wipe up any spills immediately.

Avoid placing hot cookware or other heated objects directly onto the stone. Always use a trivet or protective mat to help prevent thermal shock and damage to the surface.

3. Sealing

Our marble pieces are supplied unsealed.

If you would like to seal your piece, we recommend Aqua Mix Sealer’s Choice Gold – Rapid Cure, a water-based, low-VOC sealer designed for natural stone that lasts up to 15 years.

Always follow the manufacturer’s application instructions carefully when sealing your piece.
